De missie van Audrey Rousse-Malpat en Wim Gombert is de bevordering van het onderwijs in de Franse taal waarbij de methodiek gekenmerkt wordt door kernwaarden als doeltaal-voertaal, impliciet, inductief, onderdompeling en "usage-based" en waarbij de primaire focus de spreekvaardigheid is. Ze willen dit bereiken door onderzoek, door het verzorgen van workshops en studiemiddagen, door praktische ondersteuning van docenten, door het delen van kant-en-klaar lesmateriaal en door het publiceren van relevante publicaties of het linken ernaar. Onze collega's Marijke De Meyer en Charlotte Snauwaert gaan zich een week onderdompelen in de professionele habitats van Audrey en Wim in Rotterdam en Groningen van 24 tot 28 september 2018. This course (from 28/5 until 1/6/2018) looked at 3 different aspects of quality: structure of a quality plan and short introduction to EFQM, the human factor and the role of the school team. IT revealed the importance of involving the school staff and school team in the implementation of the schools’ educational quality. This course aimed at answering the questions of how to start and develop a quality management plan. It also offered guidance on how to implement the needed quality awareness. At the same time it focused on internal strategies to make the quality management plan operational. During the course we were introduced to methods which enabled us to edit our own quality system. At the end we worked out a possible strategic plan and presented it

In this three-day study visit "Diversity in the Classroom” in London, UK (14 - 16 March 2018) the participants investigated on how to handle diversity and use diversity as a tool to reinforce learning. The course contained study visits to Netley Primary School and Torriano Primary School in Camden (London).

From 22 - 26/1/2018 Dutch teacher Tine Binnemans is attending the UDEL21 KA1 conference and training course in Portoroz (Slovenia). Main topic: diversity in our classrooms. On the programme: a visit to a special educational needs school, a lecture on multilingualism and newcomers with another mother tongue and cultural diversity (theoretical background and practical exercises and exploration of tools).
